Had this book in my tbr for a while and finally got it! I only put it down cause it was time for dinner and was holding the book for so long, I wore some of the gold off of the front cover. I'm halfway through and can't wait for my next day off. Spice 6 out of 5. Love the pacing, character development, and atmosphere.

I absolutely licked, sucked, and devoured this book. The things I would let Aiden O’Connor do to me would make a nun blush in church.
Aiden and Catriona are such a powerful dynamic couple. I loved the witty banter, the love/hate tension. She is so stubborn and will fight Aiden at every turn but that just makes him crave her more. They both crave control and power but neither is willing to give it up for each other. But, slowly control slips. Power changes. And then everything comes full circle for both of them. Heart’s are broken and the truth comes to light but who will be caught in the crossfire. They both want to protect each other. There comes a point where every leader has to give up some control and Cat is the only woman Aiden would ever get on his literal knees and beg for. She becomes his queen and he would do anything for her.

This is a must read!! I recommend reading Little Death (the prequel to Until Death) first just so you know and understand how Aiden and Catriona first met.
